Scaffold problems

It took me two hours to get home yesterday, cos some dumbass scaffolder decided to drop something off a big building and cause all the roads to be closed in the city centre. Dumbass. Wouldn't have minded but the batteries ran out in my cd player. CD PLAYA. Just ordered an iPod Shuffle today though. Not that that will make any difference to the life of batteries.
Went to Sugarfoot Stomp in the evening with the usuals. IND was pissed off that we had to go when it shut, but as i explained, not everyone is a teacher and gets to not go to work today. Had a nice chat with GS about my dream-girl: i think we concluded that i should just start talking to people more. Maybe be a little more friendly.
