Explain myself

The post below started this way: i was reading a blog by someone whose name involved the word "Irish". I'm not complaining about this person, as a person, or their blog, but the use of the word 'Irish'.
S/he was from Texas. Again, not a problem.
S/he had a list of things she wanted to do. One of them was "visit Ireland".
That is what i have a problem with. This person's from Texas, has never been to Ireland, yet calls themselves "Irish".
I might change my name to Loaded. Or Big Cock.
